I Came, I Saw, I Conquered!

Today 3/29/14 (my birthday)

UTI Exton had an open house today in which it was mandatory for me to attend. I hadn't been to the campus before so I was really excited! To start off, after the long 2 hour drive, it was great to walk in and see this beauty just stare at me as I walked through the door.

It had already been noon when we arrived so everyone was hungry, so after checking in we went straight to where they were supplying us with hot dogs and bagels. Soon after we had a general hour long meeting to attend.

After the meeting was over, it was 2 o'clock ( I'm keeping in mind that I had scholarship testing at 3 ) we rushed over to where we could apply for housing through the school, before I knew it, $200 for fees and deposits were just flying out of my pocket!

Come 3, I'm making my way to the testing area where I took a scholarship test...it was an interesting test.

Finally around 4:15 we decided to finish up with the best part! LOANS!

After that was out of the way we all went to the restrooms and sadly, it was time for us to leave.

Now everything is set for me to attend in September. It was a great experience, I hope to come back soon!

Way Too Low!

Yesterday at work this guy came in and asked us to lower his suspension, he had  a 2013 dodge challenger, We had some trouble getting certain bolts out but before you knew it, we were done. There is literally no more than 2 or 3 inches in the from and the back has about 2 inches from being inside the cabin.

My Introduction!

Hi my name is Roberto Godoy! I'm 17 years old and senior at High Tech High School majoring in Automotive Technology. I'm a big automotive enthusiast and enjoy working with my hands. I like lifting weights and playing basketball, football, and soccer. Recently in our major we've been focusing on a 69 beetle, but prior to that, I've mainly been working on a 1968 Ford Country Sedan. We redid the entire braking system, practically rebuilt the transmission, cleaned out the rear differential and axles, and much more! As for my personal goals, I hope to become a master technician one day and hopefully open up my own garage where I would like to work on super cars and do some custom work. My favorite thing about the bug would have to be that the technology that goes into this little car, is basic. It is a great car to learn the basics from because there aren't any complex computers, or unnecessary luxuries. I plan on posting up automotive related things, as well as anything else that I find interesting. Stay tuned for me!
